FAQ

Who can apply to the Sprint?

Anyone aged 18 or above is welcome to apply. We encourage people from all backgrounds, disciplines, and experience levels to join.

Do I need a team to apply?

Nope! You apply as an individual.

Teams will be formed to best match the needs of each challenge while ensuring a diverse mix of skills and backgrounds.

Teams are created based on:

- Skills and interests
- Challenge requirements
- Diversity of backgrounds and perspectives

Can I apply with a friend?

Kind of. Both of you can apply individually. You may request to be placed with one friend in your application, but we can’t guarantee you’ll be on the same team.

Is the event free?

Yes! Participation is completely free.
Spots are limited, and we’ll also be providing food during the event.

What is the format of the event?

Main event: Fully in-person

Pre-event session: Planned as a hybrid format (in-person + live stream), pending final confirmation

We’ll share confirmed details closer to the event.

How are participants and volunteers selected?

Selections are based on:
- Availability for the full event
- Motivation and interest
- Relevant skills or a strong willingness to learn

You don’t need prior experience. We don’t select based on experience alone.

Can I be both a volunteer and a participant?

No. To avoid conflicts of interest, you’ll need to choose one role. We recommend applying for the role you’re most excited about.

Do I need to know how to code, design, or have previous experience?

Not at all. The Sprint is designed for people from different backgrounds who are curious, eager to learn, and excited to collaborate.

What language will the event be in?

The entire event will be in English.

What should I bring to the Sprint?

Bring your laptop, chargers, a notebook for sketching, and comfortable clothes for three days of intensive collaboration. We'll provide everything else.
